Baptisia bracteata
The beautiful perennial forms large shrublike clusters of dense blue-green foliage. Ivory colored flowers are a favorite of a wide varieth of pollinators. Declining in much of its range, you can help this plant by sowing seed balls in places where it can grow well. It prefers upland sites with moderate moisture. Although it likes sun, it can tolerate some shade.
